What types of metals can I use Cape Cod Polishing Cloths on?
Our cloths are safe and effective for use on silver, gold, pewter, brass, copper, bronze, nickel, aluminum, chrome, and stainless steel. We do not recommend using them on brushed stainless steel or plated items.
How do I prevent the cloths from drying out?
To maintain moisture, ensure the tin or foil pouch is tightly sealed after each use. If a cloth does become dry, you can revitalize it by adding a few drops of mineral oil.
Do I need to wash the item after polishing?
There is no need to wash the item. After polishing with the cloth, simply buff the surface with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or paper towel to reveal a brilliant, long-lasting shine.
What is your shipping policy for domestic orders?
We typically process and ship orders within 1-2 business days via USPS or UPS. Standard shipping usually takes 3-7 business days depending on your location within the United States.

We offer a 30-day return policy for unused and unopened products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact our customer service team to initiate a return or exchange.
Are Cape Cod Polish products safe for items used with food?
Yes, our polish is non-toxic; however, we always recommend washing any food-contact surfaces (such as silver cutlery or serving platters) with mild soap and water after polishing and before use.
